CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of Winterchase Board of Directors was held at 3927 Keystone Ridge on Monday February 23rd at 8:00 PM. Attendees included William Godfrey, Mark Perdue, Connie Keller, Melissa Jones, Greg Thompson (Non-voting President), and Will Hinton.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The meeting minutes from meeting held on September 7th were approved unanimously.
APPROVAL OF FINANCIALS
Financials for September 2025 thru January 2026 were presented by Will and approved unanimously.
Biggest expenses of 2026: fence project (now completed), pool maintenance, and landscaping.
MOTIONS
A motion was made by Will and passed unanimously for the pine straw project for the front entrance.
A motion was made by Mark and passed unanimously to set the date and time of the membership annual meeting (Sunday May 17th at 5PM)
OLD BUSINESS
One round of fence staining was completed. Another will happen when weather is appropriate.
Sod project was completed.
New landscapers are working out well.
NEW BUSINESS
Greg proposed adding pine straw to the front entrance to fill in gaps between the fence and the bushes. A budget of $1,700 was set.
Will Hinton presented a problem to the board about water pooling in certain cul-de-sac’s in the neighborhood. He was able to contact City of Acworth to get them on the docket for repair. Will also discussed his concerns for the overall upkeep of the neighborhood.
Deborah Rodgers will be resigning from the board of directors. Effective immediately. The board would like to thank her for her service and commitment to the community of over 9 years.
Membership annual meeting date is set for Sunday May 17th at 5PM.
- Main topics to include are new pool furniture, front entrance enhancements, and membership interest in changing to a POA.
- Since there is a vacancy on the BOD, only Melissa will be up for re-election. With the vacancy being filled first.
ACC report was presented by Connie and Melissa and passed unanimously.
- Yard of the Month program will resume in April.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
If you are interested in becoming a board member, please let us know before the annual meeting via email. The board has a vacancy which will be filled first, and one position up for election.
The board is looking for help/suggestions for new pool furniture. If you happen to find something that looks like a reasonable deal, please reach out to us.

ADJOURNMENT
The next meeting of the BOD will be the annual meeting in May. The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
