CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of Winterchase Board of Directors was held at 5072 Vail Drive on Tuesday September 22nd at 5:00 PM. Attendees included Deborah Rogers, Connie Keller, William Godfrey, Mark Perdue, Dawn Sprulin, and Greg Thompson (Non-voting President).
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes from the BOD meeting held on July 7th were approved unanimously.
APPROVAL OF FINANCIALS
Financials for August were presented by Will and approved unanimously.
A bank statement from HMS was presented by Greg. This statement (finally) shows a correct ending balance on December 31st, 2018.
MOTIONS
A motion was made by Mark and passed unanimously to purchase 4 bags of mulch for the front entrance.
A motion was made by Deborah and passed unanimously to raise annual dues $15 starting in 2021. The board evaluated that annual dues have remained the same for 16 years, and need to be raised to keep up with the rising costs of project materials and labor.
OLD BUSINESS
Lending Library project is now complete. Please visit it at the front of the neighborhood by the bulletin board. Thank you to those who helped install!!
Pool gate, umbrellas, and picnic tables have been delivered and installed.
New parking lot estimates are needed to continue moving forward with the project.
Security camera project needs adequate lighting at the pool and parking lot areas. Georgia Power will be contacted about Dusk to Dawn lights.
Neighbors and board members are pleased with the landscaping done by Dogwood.
NEW BUSINESS
The board evaluated raising dues for 2021.
The following projects were discussed and approved of in the following order: parking lot replacement, pool resurfacing, and green chain link fence replacement.
The board will revisit a budget specifically for community suggested projects in January.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
