CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of Winterchase Board of Directors was held at 5052 Vail Drive on Thursday February 22nd at 8:00 PM. Attendees included Deborah Rogers, Mark Perdue, Connie Keller, Will Godfrey, Doug McMinn, and Greg Thompson (Parliamentarian).
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes from the BOD meeting held on January 22nd were approved unanimously.
APPROVAL OF FINANCIALS
Financials were presented by Will and approved unanimously.
MOTIONS
A motion was made by Doug and passed unanimously to remove the early pay discount for yearly dues.
A motion was made by Mark and passed unanimously to create an online survey to poll the community about dues.
A motion was made by Deborah and passed unanimously to include the following in the completed By-Laws:
- Elections are to be held at the annual meeting.
- 2 year terms for officers.
- The board must seek approval of the community for non-essential purchases over 10% of total yearly dues.
A motion was made by Deborah and passed unanimously to take the following actions due to the pipe burst at the pool house:
- Call the water company to see if they will work with us on the bill total.
- Call the pool company to see if they are responsible for a winterizing procedure.
- Call Will’s contact, Shannon, to get an initial estimate for repair.
OLD BUSINESS
HMS did not respond to our email about 2017 taxes inquiry.
By-Laws draft has been completed.
Newsletter is almost complete, and will mail out ASAP.
NEW BUSINESS
A $1500 water bill was received during January due to a pipe burst at the pool house.
Annual meeting date has been set for Saturday, May 7th at 11AM @ the pool house.
