Board of Directors Meeting Minutes – July 7th 2020

CALL TO ORDER

A meeting of Winterchase Board of Directors was held at the Winterchase pool house on Tuesday July 7th at 8:00 PM. Attendees included Deborah Rogers, Connie Keller, William Godfrey, Mark Perdue, Dawn Sprulin, Greg Thompson (Non-voting President), and Anna Pickett.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The minutes from the BOD meeting held on May 12th were approved unanimously.

APPROVAL OF FINANCIALS

Financials for June were presented by Will and approved unanimously.

Late fees and overdue notices have been sent out.

MOTIONS

A motion was made by Greg and passed unanimously to adjust the budget of the lending library to $500 to cover shipping and post building supplies.

A motion was made by Will and passed unanimously to purchase 2 new picnic tables for the playground area.

A motion was made by Deborah and passed 4-1 to purchase security cameras for the playground and parking lot.  Initial budget set at $500.

A motion was made by Will and passed unanimously to hire Dogwood Landscaping.

A motion was made by Mark and passed unanimously to tentatively schedule an end of pool season membership meeting for late September/early October.

OLD BUSINESS

New pool gate and umbrellas are currently considered week-to-week with delays due to COVID.

Parking lot replacement is currently on hold.  We had a misunderstanding of terms, which led to the estimate increasing from 10k to 14k.  The board will obtain estimates from other contractors and re-evaluate.

NEW BUSINESS

Landscaping estimates were evaluated.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Shout out to the volunteers who helped with the picnic tables and yard work for the playground and pool area.  Thank you!
