CALL TO ORDER
The annual meeting of Winterchase Homeowners was held at the Winterchase pool house on Saturday May 11th at 10:00 AM. Attendees included Deborah Rogers, Connie Keller, William Godfrey, Mark Perdue, Greg Thompson (Non-voting President), and members representing 10 homes.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes from the annual meeting held on May 5th 2018 were read.
APPROVAL OF FINANCIALS
Treasurer’s report of financials for 2018 to 2019 was presented Will Godfrey.
- Around $13.5k in checking account; around $18.2k in savings account.
- Around $35,000 spent in 2018.
- Pool – 13k; Landscaping – 4.8k; HMS – 6.5k; General – 9k;
- General is inflated due to new playground and attorney fees.
- Around $2,000 less in spending when compared to this time last year.

- Phone service at the pool will drop from $70 to $55 a month.
- 65 homes have paid dues for this year. Late notices and fees will go out soon.
Bank statements for 2019 were made available.
MOTIONS
A motion for approval of minutes was made by Will Godfrey and passed unanimously.
A motion for approval of the treasurers report was made by Mark Perdue and passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Jennie Storey to purchase a new graduation sign and passed unanimously. (Budget set at $80~$100).
OLD BUSINESS
Pool repairs were discussed by Deborah Rogers
- Underwater lights were fixed, and handrails tightened.
- Tentative to open early next weekend (May 18th).
Community events were discussed by Greg Thompson.
- End of Year BBQ will be pushed back to early October.
- Membership supports a yard sale for early November.
- Yard of the Month has started for 2019.
Neighborhood beautification was discussed by Connie Keller.
- Trash can reminder.
- This year the ACC would like to focus on edging. Neighbors are responsible to edge driveways, sidewalks, and curbs.
- Home changes should use the change notice form, and notify the HOA within 30 days.
- The removal process of abandoned cars at the pool parking lot was discussed.
- Unknown vehicles will be given 7 days’ notice on the private Facebook page. After 7 days, the vehicle will be towed.
- Members who need to use the parking for an extended time need to notify the HOA about the vehicle, and give contact information.
- Cars with out of date tags can be called in by anyone. Call Acworth police code enforcement, Officer Hall.
NEW BUSINESS
Greg Thompson explained his new position as non-voting president.
Safety repairs are needed for the playground. Metal and concrete filling is exposed from the ground.
No member submitted themselves as a candidate. BOD will remain unchanged.
