Dear Winterchase Homeowner:
Once again this letter is being sent to let you know what changes have been taking place in our community. Our former Treasurer resigned suddenly without any notice. His untimely departure left the Board in the position of having to take immediate action to insure prompt payment of bills, continuation of existing contracts and properly addressing architectural issues. As President of the HOA, I asked two former board members, John Zambroski and Shirley Hutcheson, to step back on the board to help us at this difficult time.
It was the decision of the Board to seek outside professional counsel for an evaluation of the current state of the neighborhood’s finances. Therefore, the Board has entered into a one-year contract with a professional neighborhood management company called HMS (Homeowner Management Services). This agreement will efficiently and cost effectively manage ONLY our HOA finances and will provide continuity and professional attention on a full-time basis. The cost for their services will come out of our HOA account but will NOT result in an increase of dues.
Contrary to what you have been told or may have heard, this is NOT a FULL MANAGEMENT contract. FINANCIAL ONLY!!!
We will be holding a Homeowner’s Meeting after the first of the year to explain more details and to address any of your concerns.
As our roster is quite out of date, we have included a homeowner/renter form for you to fill out and return to us as soon as possible.
